Kurganets-25 is a Russian tracked armoured fighting vehicle (AFV) available in two variants: as an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) and as an armoured personnel carrier (APC).

Kurganets-25 was designed by Kurgan Machine-Building, Kurganmashzavod and produced by the same Kurganmashzavod starting with 2015.

With a mass of 25 tonnes (28 short tons), Kurganets-25 has a crew of three (3) and can accommodate up to eight (8) passengers.

There are three main variants of the Kurganets-25 armoured fighting vehicle.

1. Kurganets-25 Infantry Fighting Vehicle (Kurganets-25 IFV): Industrial designation – Object 693);
2. Kurganets-25 Armoured Personnel Carrier (Kurganets-25 APC): Industrial designation – Object 695);
3. Kurganets-25 Armoured Recovery Vehicle (Kurganets-25 ARV): Equipped with a crane, a winch and armed with a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun.

The main armament depends on the variant.

The Kurganets-25 IFV also has two variants. The first variant is equipped with a Bumerang-BM remote weapon station turret with 30 mm 2A42 automatic cannon.

It also has 9M133 Kornet-EM anti-tank missiles and a 7.62 mm PKT coaxial machine gun.

The second Kurganets-25 IFV variant is equipped with an AU-220M Baikal remote weapon station with a 57 mm BM-57 autocannon and a 7.62 mm PKMT machine gun.

The Kurganets-25 APC version is fitted with a 12.7 mm Kord machine gun.

Kurganets-25 AFV is powered by an 800 hp and has a power-to-weight ratio of 32 hp/tonne.

Using a torsion bar suspension, Kurganets-25 has a maximum speed on road of 80 km/h (50 mph), and, being amphibious, it can move on the water with a speed of 10 km/h (6.2 mph; 5.4 kn).
