General Dynamics Corporation (GD) is an American aerospace and defence corporation with its headquarters in West Falls Church, Virginia, USA.

Certainly its most famous product is the legendary F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter aircraft which GD produced until 1993.

Although GD sold its Forth Worth Division where it manufactured the combat jets to Lockheed Martin in 1993, the company based in West Falls remained a major competitor in the defence industry.

Currently it is the fifth largest defence company by sales in the United States and the sixth largest in the world.
